The Handpaper mill has now moved from Svartvik to Backe, further up north in the country. The business will continue as usual and we would like to welcome both our old and new customers to our new place. We will also open a webshop shortly, so please pay another visit to our website soon!

Gunnar “Gandalf” Bergström in Sundsvall, Sweden, isn’t much interested in being interviewed. His hand-made paper is much more interesting than its creator, he insists. “I’m the invisible hand. It’s the paper that’s number one – that’s what the customer sees.”
